Visit the Basilica del Pilar and the city centre with many attractions. Continue to Madrid. Overnight. DAY 05 MADRID: (B,D) Morning sightseeing tour of Madrid. Afternoon free. Evening enjoy dinner with flamingo show.Overnight. DAY 06 MADRID –TOLEDO - MADRID: (B,D) Half day visit the historic city of Toledo. Rest of the day free in Madrid to explore on your own. DAY 07 MADRID – OURENSE: (B,D) Drive northwest to the region of Galicia to Ourense. Stretching out on the banks of the river Miño. The Old City preserves major historic sites, among them the second largest Cathedral. Overnight. DAY 08 VIGO–SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA: (B,D) Drive via Spanish Fjords with magnificent landscape. Stop in Vigo, province of Pontevedra, situated on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, (Rías Baixas), with famous fishing ports and picturesque near by islands. Continue northwest to the capital of Galicia Santiago de Compostela. Rest of the day free. DAY 09 SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA: (B,D) Walking tour of the historic city with its impressive medieval cathedral, centre of European pilgrims for centuries. Region is also famous for its cuisine lively nightlife and excellent wines. Afternoon free. DAY 10 SANTIAGO - LA CORUÑA: (B,D) Depart to La Coruña a seaside town with many attractions. Visit the city with magnificent view from the Hercules Tower, an ancient Roman lighthouse. Rest of the day at leisure. DAY 11 LUGO –GIJON –OVIEDO: (B,D) Depart to Lugo with its Roman city walls UNESCO’S Heritage site. Drive to Asturias, short visit and continued along the coast to Gijon, a picturesque fishing village. Overnight in Oviedo. DAY 12 OVIEDO – COVADONGA: (B,D) Travel through the Picos de Europa mountains and National Park to Covadonga Lakes nestled in the beautiful landscape. Rest of the day free. Overnight. DAY 13 SANTANDER – BILBAO: (B,D) Depart via the town of Colombres, on the picturesque coastline to the medieval village of Santillana. Visit. Drive to Santander capital of Catanbria built around a natural port, popular tourist destination. Continue along the coast of Cantabria to Bilbao, a modern metropolis, offering many attractions and the amazing Guggenheim museum. Rest of the day free. DAY 14 BILBAO – SAN SEBASTIAN: (B,D) Travel on the unspoiled northern coast of Spain to the small fishing village of San Sebastian with it’s beautiful sandy beaches. Overnight DAY 15 IRUN – BAYONA – BORDEAUX: (B,D) Depart via Irun to Bayona, visit Ojival Cathedral built in 1213, UNESCO’S Heritage. Drive west of France to Bordeaux, famous for its wines. Free time to explore. DAY 16 SARLAT–POITIERS–(Futuroscope) (B,D) Drive to Sarlat, a medieval town that has developed around a large benedictine monastery of Carolingian origin. Drive to Futuroscope “European Park of Moving Image” 12km from Poitiers overlooking Boivre rivers. Visit. Overnight . DAY 17 CHINON-CHENONCEAUX AMBOISE: (B,D) Enter the Loire Valley. Visit “Plouceau” famous winery. Drive to Chenonceaux, visit the magnificent castle in a form of a bridge over the river. And continue to Amboise to visit the castle where Leonardo da Vinci was buried. Overnight. DAY 18 BLOIS-CHAMBORD-FONTAINEBLEU (B,D) Drive to Blois situated in the heart of some finest chateaux. Visit the Chateau de Blois and the Chambord Royal Castle with Renaissance architecture. Continue to Fontainebleau, visit the Chateau, once home of Napoleón . Drive to Paris. Overnight . DAY 19 PARIS: (B,D) Visit the sophisticated city includes: Champs-Elysées Arc de Triumphed, Place de la Concorde, City Hall, the island of cité with Notre Dame Cathedral, Latin Quarters, Jardines de Luxemburg, Eiffel Tower and the famous Louvre Museum. DAY 20 PARIS (B,D) Day at leisure in the magnificent city. Enjoy a fare well dinner in a local restaurant. DAY 21-22 PARIS – AUSTRALIA (B) Transfer to the Airport for departure flight home.
