DAY 01-02: AUSTRALIA-ROME: (D) Depart Australia to Rome. Arrive day free. Welcome dinner. Overnight.
DAY 03: ROME-POMPEII: (B,D) Drive to Pompeii, to visit the excavations and continue to Sorrento. Free time. Overnight.
DAY 04: ISLAND OF CAPRI: (B) Board the boat to the island of Capri overlooking the blue waters of the Mediterranean. Visit the excavations. Return to your hotel in Sorrento.
DAY 05: AMALFI COAST: (B,D) Full day visit the coast of Amalfi, most breathtaking coastline in Europe. Visit the picturesque villages of Amalfi and Positano. Return to your hotel.
DAY 06: SORRENTO – TAORMINA: (B,D) Drive south through Calabria for ferry crossing the Straits of Messina to Sicily. Overnight in one of the delightful resorts in Taormina with views of Mt. Etna.
DAY 07: TAORMINA (B) Visit the charming city, a favourite international resort with magnificent gardens and the famous ancient Greek theatre. Afternoon free to enjoy the views of the beautiful Ionian coastline and Mt. Etna
DAY 08: PIAZZA ARMERINA-AGRIGENTO: (B,D) Drive to Piazza Armerina, visit the 3rd century Villa Romana del Casale. Continue to the famous valley of the Temples, formally a Greek stronghold on the sea of Agrigento, with magnificent architecture dating from 582 BC. Overnight.
DAY 09: AGRIGENTO-PALERMO-FERRY (B,D) Drive through the scenic hills to the capital of Sicily, Palermo. A fascinating city located on the north-western coast of the island. Overnight ferry to Naples. Dinner on board
DAY 10: NAPLES-ROME (B,D) Admire the breathtaking views of Naples and Mount Vesuvius as you arrive in the beautiful bay of Naples. Visit the historic centre. Drive to Rome. Visit ancient Rome includes the Coliseum, and Roman Forum. Dinner in a local restaurant.
DAY 11: ROME: (B) Visit St. Peter's and the Vatican, with its incredible museum, and Sistine Chapel. Afternoon at leisure.
DAY 12: ROME – TODI – ASSISI: (B,D) Drive to the beautifully preserved town of Todi situated on a hill. Visit. Continue to the pink stone city of Assisi, a medieval town under the protection of St. Francis. Visit the Basilica, famous for its Fresco paintings.
DAY 13: ASSISI-SIENA (B,D) Depart to Siena. Enjoy a walking tour of the city and famous Il Palio Arena. Rest of the day free.
DAY 14: SAN GIMIGNANO-FLORENCE (B,D) Visit the picturesque San Gimignano, famous for its medieval towers. Afternoon drive to Florence.
DAY 15: FLORENCE: (B) Enjoy a walking tour, of the romantic city, the multi-coloured marble cathedral, Signoria Square, Santa Croce Basilica. Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 16: PISA – VENICE: (B,D) Visit Pisa and the famous Leaning Tower. Continue to Venice area. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 17: VENICE: (B,D) Cross the Venetian lagoon by private boat for a full day in the magical city of Venice. See St. Mark’s Square, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace. Free time to explore. Dinner at your hotel. Overnight
DAY 18: VENICE – PADUA – LAKE GARDA: (B,D) Depart to the university town of Padua, home of many great Italians, with numerous art treasures. Visit the Basilica of St. Anthony. Continue to Lake Garda. Panoramic tour to Sirmione, celebrated by Roman poet Catullus as the “jewel of all islands”.
DAY 19: VERONA-MILAN: (B,D) Depart through the cypress-clad hills to Verona, to see the Roman Arena and Juliet's famous balcony. Free time for lunch. Continue to Milan. Overnight.
DAY 20: MILAN: (B,D) Morning visit the city of Milan, with the famous La Scala opera house, the Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral. Afternoon free. Evening farewell dinner.
DAY 21: MILAN-AUSTRALIA: (B) Transfer to the airport for return flight home.
